Global Food Retail Group Pte Ltd ("GFRG”) is an investment holding company. GFRG Group's main business is in the food & beverage sector and the Group acquired the Wendy's brand in November 2018. Wendy's is an iconic Australian brand with a 42-year heritage and has grown to be one of Australia's largest ice cream and treats franchises. The Group's vision is to bring value to our stakeholders by capitalising on opportunities in the food & beverage sector through our franchise network of over 80 stores in Australia. Besides its commercial objectives, the Group also actively seek ways to contribute to society through donations, fund raising, volunteering and gifts in kind. This year, we have identified the Neighbours for Neighbours (N4N) campaign by South Central Community Family Service Centre (SCCFSC) as a meaningful and impactful one that we believe will benefit the families that are served by SCCFSC.
GFRG Group has been supporting South Central Community Family Service Centre ("SCCFSC") over the last few years. SCC provides support to families who seek help in financial, social or relationship issues. SCC also encourages community self-help and cooperation. Over the past year with Covid-19 challenges faced by the community, GFRG supported SCC with logistics and volunteers for delivery of masks and other essential items from donors to the vulnerability in the community. The Group also made donations to SCC to support SCC's fund raising efforts to help the community.
