South Central Community Family Service Centre Limited (“SCC”) Privacy Policy is written to protect your personal data in compliance with PDPA. The privacy of your personal data is important to us and we are committed to safeguarding it.

SCC shall protect individuals’ personal data in our possession or under our control by making reasonable security measurements to prevent unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. We shall take appropriate steps to ensure that the information is accurate, up to date, and kept only for so long as necessary for the purposes for which the information is intended/used.

    • refer us to someone in need of our support
    • enquire about our services
  • Make a donation (financial and/or in-kind)
  • Sign-up as a volunteer
  • Request to be in our mailing list
  • Apply for financial assistance schemes
  • Receive in-kind/sponsored gifts
  • Participate in community outreach activity/event
  • Apply for employment
  • Respond by email to a web or direct communication
  • Photos/videos taken at events that may be used for publication purposes, posted on our website, social media channels, etc.

Collecting and Using Your Information

Individuals’ personal data is strictly collected to carry out our activities. We do not disclose or share personal data to third parties without prior consent nor for marketing purposes.

Personal data shall only be disclosed/shared unless required to do so by law or in emergency situations that threatens an individual or another person's life, police or law enforcement agency.

We may use our stakeholders’ (e.g. beneficiaries (“members”) donors, volunteers, community partners) personal data for publicity purposes such as (but not limited to) on our website, social media channels, marketing collaterals (including partners) and annual report, unless written instructions has been given by the individuals not to use their personal data in the aforementioned stated.

Opt-out

Individual who has queries about this privacy policy, or who wish to withdraw consent for the use of personal data may opt-out by writing to SCC at Dpo@sccfsc.org.sg, with the subject heading “Opt Out- Personal Data”.

SCC shall respond within a reasonable period of time, depending on the nature and complexity of the queries. For withdrawal of consent for the use of personal data, please allow 2 weeks for the request to be processed.

The terms of this privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The date of change shall be reflected under “Last Updated”.
